North East Open Chapmionships
Hosted by Hartlepool Wado-Kai, this Championship is open to all members of the SKF.
Instructors Course
This is the first Instructor Course this year, it should only be attended by the Head Instructors of all SKF Clubs.
Over time, these courses will cover the whole of the SKF syllabus to ensure that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.
It is essential that we all try and attend at least one of these each year - there will be two.
Whereas you do not need to book a space on this course, we would appreciate confirmation of your intended attendance.

Dan Grade Seminar
This course is for students training for the 2026 Dan Grade, and is open to 1st Kyu and above only. Due to space, the course will be restricted to only 30 people on a first come first served basis.
Booking is essential for this course, and can be booked via paul@skfscotland.com
Please include your name, phone number, club and current grade.
Entry is £5 per person, payable on the day.

Dan Grading
If eligible, please apply for the Dan Grading via our “Technical & Gradings” page.
Applications will close at 6pm on May 11th.
The Dan Grading will begin at 2pm sharp; please arrive by 1.30pm in order to get changed and warmed up ahead of the grading commencing.
